Both WestJet and Air Canada offer many flights to and from the Grande Prairie Airport which is a 10-minute drive to Second Street Theatre. Rental cars are available and a scenic 2-hour drive south on Highway 40 takes you to Grande Cache and the Rocky Mountains. There are many other nearby attractions - just check the website of the Grande Prairie Regional Tourism Association.
As an extra attraction, just look skyward on a clear night during our festival and you may be greeted by brilliance that even surpasses what can be seen on the screen. The aurora borealis (i.e. northern lights) is a shimmering ribbon of light that can be seen about 160 nights a year. AuroraWatch is a website that keeps track of the potential for northern lights and sends out free e-mail alerts when conditions are right for spotting one of nature's most spectacular displays.
